BA LLB — Jindal Global Law School
Akanksha Dubey is a lecturer at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), O.P. Jindal Global University, whose teaching and research focus on intellectual property law. Her research sits at the intersection of copyright and trademark law, artificial intelligence, and the creative industries, with a particular focus on the music industry. Her current work explores how AI is reshaping questions of authorship, ownership, and infringement in creative industries, drawing on comparative UK, EU, and Indian law. She holds a BA LLB from Jindal Global Law School (2021) and an LLM in Intellectual Property and Information Laws from King's College London (2022). At JGLS, she teaches Intellectual Property Rights and Labour and Industrial Laws, and has supervised LLM dissertations across IP-related areas. Her current research examines the copyright implications of audio deepfakes under UK law, considering how deepfake audio technologies complicate questions of attribution and ownership in creative and performative works.
