Biography

Eveleen K Sidana is an Assistant Professor of Sociology & Anthropology at the Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat. Previously, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the School of Arts and Sciences, at Azim Premji University, Bhopal. She completed her PhD from the University of California, Davis, in Sociocultural Anthropology and completed her M.A. and M.Phil in Sociology, from Delhi School of Economics, Univ. of Delhi. She researches urban spaces focusing on mobilities, practices, infrastructures, design, media, & digital technologies. Having worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions, Pune, as a programmer analyst and technical writer; & the Hindu BusinessLine, Chennai, as a sub-editor, her professional & educational background informs her research & pedagogy.
