Biography

Anjali is an Indian Qualified lawyer. She graduated from Jindal Global Law School with an Ist-Class Honours in 2017. During her undergraduate, she has worked as a member of student academic counsel, research assistant for various centres, and teaching assistant for constitutional law and taxation. 

Anjali commenced her career with an impactful externship with Chief Justice Mark E. Recktenwald at the US State Supreme Court, Hawaii; followed by a general litigation practice in the Supreme Court and High Court of Delhi. 

Anjali also honed her skills as a Law Researcher in the chambers of Hon’ble Mr. Justice G.S. Sistani, Former Judge of Delhi High Court, working over 150 commercial cases involving various (Unicorns, Public, Pvt.) entities.

During her clerkship, she found her passion in the field of Dispute Resolution and went on to pursue a super-specialization in International Commercial Arbitration Law at Stockholm University, Sweden. During her masters, she went for various Arbitration events and competitions throughout Europe including at Stockholm Chambers of Commerce, mock arbitral proceedings at law firms like Vinge (Stockholm) and Konard Partners (Warsaw, Poland) and negotiation proceedings at Columbia Law School. At Stockholm University, she worked as a Student Ambassador with the Stockholm Student Union for the year 2019-2020.

Anjali's commitment to continuous learning is underscored by various professional courses in dispute resolution, drafting, and commercial laws from prestigious universities in India, the UK, Germany, and, the US.

Previously Anjali has served as a Tribunal Secretary in the chambers of Hon’ble Mr. Justice G.P. Mittal, Former Judge of Delhi High Court in various Domestic and International Arbitrations, ranging between 5M USD to 150M USD in Pharmaceutical, Concession, Marine, Construction, Corporate, Technology, etc. Anjali has also worked with the Kluwer Arbitration. 

Anjali is a published author, she has authored a book with Bloomsbury on Multi-Tier Arbitration Clauses: International Trends in Dispute Resolution. Additionally, she provides legal consultancy to educational & private entities, law firms & corporations. 

She has led workshops and seminars on dispute resolution, evaluative mediation, generative AI and strategic negotiations for bureaucrats, judges, lawyers, legal & business professionals, educators and law students. She regularly sits as panelist for dispute resolution symposium(s) & serve as judge for various moot courts, ADR and Client Counselling competitions such as Jessup, Vis, FDI, Stetson etc. 

A passionate advocate for social causes, Anjali actively engages in pro-bono work, offering legal assistance to underprivileged communities. She is an advocate for child care and education and has supported various projects of Teach For India, UNICEF (India), etc.

Her research interest is centered around International Dispute Resolution, Commercial Law, Contractual Law, and Domestic Arbitration.

In her free time, she loves to backpack, learn about different cultures and languages
