Biography

Prof. Arijeet Ghosh is a lawyer by education and has finished his B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar. Subsequently, he went on to pursue his LL.M. with a specialisation in Human Rights from University College London and has successfully completed the same in 2016. He has professional experience of working as a consultant to the 21st Law Commission of India and has also worked Judicial Reforms Initiative at Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, a legal policy think tank, as a Research Fellow. Prior to joining Jindal Global Law School, he was working as a Project Officer with Prison Reforms Programme, Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative. Arijeet has keen interest in working in the broader area of Public law, with specific focus on Constitutional Law, Human Rights and Criminal Justice Institutions.
