Biography

Devika Singh is an Assistant Lecturer at Jindal Global Law School. Prior to joining Jindal, she worked in London for two years, gaining experience across corporate and commercial law, civil litigation, and cross-border transactions. Her work included reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, as well as assisting with equity transactions, joint ventures, and investment arrangements. She also worked on cross-border projects in the energy, infrastructure, mining, and special economic zone sectors.

Earlier in her career, she worked in legal aid and litigation, including matters before the District and Sessions Courts in Chandigarh and the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

She holds an LL.M. from UCL with distinction, where she specialised in international arbitration, and an LL.B. from Panjab University with distinction. Her professional and academic interests include corporate and commercial law, international business transactions, and alternative dispute resolution, with a particular interest in arbitration.
