Biography

Currently, Haifa is a PhD candidate at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS). She has completed her undergraduate and post graduate degrees from the University of Delhi and University of Birmingham respectively. She has also taught for several years at Islamic University of Science and Technology and worked as a lawyer at APDP on a UNVFVT project on Enforced Disappearances and Torture, before joining JGLS in 2019. She had a brief stint as an advocate at Jammu and Kashmir High Court as well. Her research is at the intersection of human rights, law and politics. Her research can be accessed on SSRN.
